Start at
Shafer Vineyard, 4.5
miles west of Forest Grove on Hwy 8.
The facilities
and tasting room with complimentary wine tasting, cheese, crackers
and coffee are open daily 11-5. It's Christmas all year long at Shafer's.
Take your glass of wine and mosey around Miki's Christmas Shop.
Head back toward
Forest Grove and turn left on David Hill Rd. up and around to
David Hill Winery. The
tasting room (Where you can often find Jason Bull, the winemaker) is open
daily from noon until 5:00 p.m.
Now it's time
for you to take a little break from wine tasting and enjoy the drive out to
Elk Cove Vineyard. Go through
downtown Forest Grove and turn right onto Hw 47.
go 8 miles and
turn right onto Olson Rd. The road is just past the gas station in Gaston.
There is an Elk Cove Vineyard sign directly opposite the road.
Follow Olson for
2.8 miles (This is a long, winding road through the countryside).
Elk Cove
Vineyard is on your right. The tasting room is open
from 10 am to 5 pm daily. Elk Cove's Pinot Noir is being served on
China Airlines in Business and First Class!
When it's time
to go to Montinore Vineyards,
follow Hwy. 47 north towards Forest Grove. Go about 6 miles and turn left at
Dilley onto Dudney Street. Go .1 mile on Dudney and turn right on Dilley Road.
Continue past the school .3 miles to the vineyard. The tasting room is open
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Call in advance to arrange a tour of the magnificent

Turn left onto
Hwy 47. Turn right at Elm St. The tasting room is open from
noon to 5 p.m.

specifically to saké enthusiasts and wine drinkers alike.
After 5
wineries, you must be ready for some food!
